| After three internships at Microsoft, one internship at Apple, and three years at Google, Gayle Laakmann decided in 2008 that she had spent enough time at the biggies. She left Google with best wishes to her co-workers and went out to explore the world. Following six weeks in Argentina and three weeks in Asia, Gayle's attention is now firmly focused on the Seattle startup scene.
Gayle is an accomplished software engineer with a strong entrepreneurial streak. She is the co-founder of Seattle Anti-Freeze and the publisher of CareerCup.com.
Gayle graduated near the top of her class at the University of Pennsylvania.
